The ground floor of the home has a special care dementia section which has excellent facilities including free access to its own garden. This section of the home has been adapted specifically with dementia/Alzheimer's patients in mind and has good walking areas with lots of stimulating material, two day rooms, a dining room and activities room.
We offer Long Term, Convalescent and Respite care for all dependency levels, and Dementia/Alzheimer care. Mountpleasant Lodge was completed in September 2009 and features 68 private bedrooms, spacious lounges and dining areas which look out onto an internal courtyard and landscaped grounds.

Mountpleasant Lodge was officially opened in November 2010 by the Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney T.D.
